Kristine J. Collins Barre City- Kristine J. Collins, 52, of Prospect Street passed away Sunday February 23, 2020 at her daughters' home on Essex St. She was born to John and Lucille Collins at Barre City Hospital on June 30, 1997. She attended St. Monica School until the eighth grade and went on to graduated from Spaulding High School in 1985. After her schooling, she joined the Army National Guard at Camp Johnson in Colchester Vt. where she served from 1985-2003. After leaving the guard, she was employed at the Vermont Dept. of taxes as a Tax Examiner. After leaving the tax dept., she became employed at Capital Candy as a customer Service technician. Throughout her years, she enjoyed playing co-ed snow softball and volleyball. She loved to go camping, snowmobiling, four wheeling, arm wrestling and being around her many friends. Kris' smile, laughter, hugs and outgoing personality made her the life of the party. She leaves behind her daughter Ashley Collins and fiancé Cody Carlson, her grandson Coltyn , her mother Lucille Collins, her brother Kevin Collins and fiancé Pam Massey, her brother Michael Collins and wife Bonnie Collins, her nephew Alan Storti and his significant other and her niece Chantel Storti and her fiancé Asmir Korajkic. Her daughter Ashley and grandson Coltyn were her treasured loves of her life. A Mass Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 2, 2020 at 11:00am in St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre, followed by a Celebration of life at the American Legion in Barre.
