BERLIN- Patricia L. Anair, formerly of Woodbury, Barre, Berlin VT and Ocala, Florida, passed peacefully in her sleep Saturday evening, January 25, 2020, at Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin. Born on April 24, 1931 in Woodbury,Vt, she was the daughter of Raymond C. Parker and Pauline C. Rowell. Pat loved reading, cooking, and knitting, she especially enjoyed making blankets and afghans for family and friends. She leaves behind her sister Shirley Parker Mcgeoghegan and family of Lewiston, Idaho, a brother Michael Parker and his partner Ginny Garrison of Hardwick, VT, her brother Denis Parker and his wife Ilene of Williston, her sister-in law Irene Parker and family of New Jersey, granddaughters Careyann Clark of South Royalton, JoAnna Clark-Tiffany of Barre, Krystal Clark of Wheeling, West Virginia, five great-grandchildren and several great-great grand-children. Pat leaves behind many friends including her long-time best friend, Jackie Barnett of Barre. She is pre-deceased by her parents, her partner of 30 years Edwin Sibley, her husband Alfred Anair, her daughter Rosemary Clark Abner, her brothers James Battles and Raymond Parker and a sister Yvette Collum. The family thanks Woodridge Nursing Home for their care of Pat while she was a resident and their special care while she was in Palliative care. There are no calling hours. A graveside memorial service will be announced at a later date.
