Shawn T. Mcdonald

BARRE TOWN – Shawn T. McDonald, 40, of Barre Town, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 5, 2024, at his home. He was born on May 3, 1983, to Thomas McDonald Jr. and Susan LePage. He graduated from Spaulding High School in 2001 and studied HVAC at VT Technical College. Shawn was the owner/operator of McDonald Construction and was also a Tela Data Technician at IBEW Local 300. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid bass fisherman. Shawn was a staple of his community and took immense pride in caring for people. He was nominated for the Governor’s Award for community work. He had a heart of gold, would often lift others up, and believed everyone deserved a second chance. He was truly a “give the shirt off his back” type of guy.
