Alfred M. Vanetti

BARRE - Alfred M. Vanetti, 89, of Barre, passed away on March 4, 2024, at Barre Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Barre, VT. He was born February 14, 1935, in New York City. He was the son of Guido and Louisa (Iamoretti) Vanetti. His parents were from the Lombardy region of Italy. He attended schools in Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Vanetti was a fraternal twin brother of Louis G. Vanetti of Barre, VT, who predeceased him. The two brothers lived together their entire lives and enjoyed occasional trips to Montreal and Manhattan. Mr. Alfred Vanetti worked for the Times Argus as print setter printing the paper. Mr. Vanetti was a huge Yankees fan and enjoyed watching many other sports on TV. He is survived by his best friend, Ethan Sayers of Barre, VT along with his three nieces, Marylou Moravec of New Jersey, Susan Miranda of Florida, and Barbara Daniec of Long Island, NY.
