Barbara J. Laperle

BARRE CITY - Barbara J. LaPerle, 93, of 455 North Main Street passed away on December 7, 2024, in Pensacola, FL with her son at her side. Born in Barre on December 10, 1930, she was the daughter of Orville and Charlotte (Sulham) Canton. She attended schools in Barre and Spaulding High School. Barbara was employed at the Woolen Mills in North Montpelier and the former Capacitor Plant in Barre. On August 26, 1950, she married Laurence “Mike” LaPerle in St. Monica Church in Barre. Together they owned and operated the LaPerle Farm for 35 years. She retired in 1985. They enjoyed spending time with their family and grandchildren. Her husband, Mike LaPerle passed away on August 18,1988. She was a member St. Monica Church in Barre.
