Barbara G. Lyons

WASHINGTON-Barbara G. Lyons,73, passed away on November 4, 2023, in her home with her family by her side. Barbara lived a happy and full life. Some of her greatest joys were her daughter, her grandsons, her great grandchildren, family, her church family, many friends and above all her love for God. Barbara never let an opportunity go by that smiles and laughter could be shared. Her life in Vermont began in 1980 and she never once regretted it. The country is where she felt she truly belonged. For most of her working life she was involved with retail and is known to have said multiple times that she loved all of her customers, they are what made the job worth doing. It is certain she never met a stranger. It is hard to describe and honor a woman who was quite content with staying out of the limelight yet shined as brightly as the sun, day in and day out.
