ORANGE - We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Chad Gary Frederick Spencer , 42, of Orange, VT. Chad passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 11, 2024, Chad was born on June 9th, 1982, to the late Frederick Alan Spencer and Marilyn June (Lowery) Spencer. He graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre, VT in 2000 where he graduated a year early. He enjoyed spending time landscaping his yard, camping and spending time at Hampton Beach. He was passionate about politics. Chad enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on a regular basis. He will be missed so much by both his family, friends, and anyone he touched throughout his life. He is survived by his husband Nathan Gage; his mother Marilyn Spencer; his siblings, Jeff Spencer and his longtime partner Jennifer Kopenga, Tara Jesmonth, Jennifer and Edward Dwinell and his stepsiblings, Garrett and Jenna Townsend, Glen Townsend and Shelly and Louie Messier.
