BARRE-Charles P. Palmisano, originally of Barre, Vermont, and a resident of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 31, 2025. Born to Samuel and Constance Palmisano, Charles lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a renowned sense of humor that brought laughter to all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Yvonne M. Palmisano, and by his four children: Charles S. Palmisano and his wife Brenda Palmisano, Rosanne Palmisano and her husband Sean Roy, Joanne Palmisano and her husband Stephen Booth, and Julie Anderson and her husband Curtis Anderson.

He especially cherished the time he spent with his beloved grandchildren, especially teaching them how to fish, his way — Samantha Anderson, Gabrielle Booth, Hilary Anderson, and Alexander Palmisano — who brought him endless joy and pride.

Charles held his family, friends, nieces, and nephews close to his heart, finding his greatest joy in their company.

Throughout his life, Charles was known as a man of deep character and quiet generosity. In addition to being a successful businessman, he was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Barre Elks Club.

A celebration of Charles’s life will be held on June 13th at 11:00am at Hope Cemetery, Barre Vermont.
