WILLIAMSTOWN – David J. Duranleau, 65, of Williamstown, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at his home with his loved ones by his side. He was born on November 16, 1958, to the late Jean and Lucille (Matson) Duranleau.
During Davids early years, he worked at Ben & Jerrys. He also volunteered at J.C. Penny, Meals on Wheels in Waterbury and Montpelier, and delivered books for the Nursing Homes and most recently volunteered at the Senior Center in Waterbury.
David enjoyed going to the ocean in Maine, camping, and spending time at the family camp at Woodbury Lake.
David is survived by his brother Dana Duranleau of Montpelier, VT, his sister Giselle (Duranleau) Eldred and her husband Frank Eldred of Johnson, VT, his nephew Darren Webster of Kentucky, and niece Jennifer Growchowik of Williamstown, his great-nephews Reggie and RJ, and great-nieces Maria, Mikala, Ashlie, and Rylie.
David has been in ill health for many years and has been in hospice care for the last six months.
