Donald J. Murray Jr.

BARRE - Donald James Murray Jr., 66, of Barre, VT, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family in Jupiter, FL on May 20, 2024. Donald “Don” was born in Barre on April 12, 1958, to Donald J. Murray Sr., and Claire Ashford. As a 1976 Spaulding High School graduate, he loved sports, especially baseball, basketball and later in life golf. After graduating from Webber International University in 1980, he held various positions before becoming a CPA. He settled into his role at Fothergill, Segale & Valley, CPAs where he retired as a partner in December 2022 after 25 years. Don and his wife of 33 years Gail, loved to travel, some of their favorite places to visit were Las Vegas, Nashville and their winter home in Florida. He remained a member of the Barre Lodge of Elks #1535 for 37 years.
