Emogene (Jean) A. Bancroft

BERLIN - Emogene (Jean) Bancroft, an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at Central Vermont Hospital on February 15, 2025, at the age of 90. She will be so missed by all of us who loved her. Jean was a gifted baker and made hundreds of Wedding and Birthday cakes with love. Nobody made spice rolls and donuts better than her, just ask her kids. She also loved country music and had a better voice than she gave herself credit for. She was an avid Search A Word puzzle player and was very good at it. Her most joy came from the hundreds of pictures she had on her walls and albums. Throughout her life pictures adorned every wall of every room in her house. If a picture was taken, she made sure it made it somewhere for lasting memories. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Patty, her husband TJ D’Avignon and Ronnie Bancroft.
