Francis E. Hathaway Jr.

MONPELIER- Francis Edward Hathaway Jr., 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2020 at his Mother's home surrounded by his family and his best friend after a brief illness. Born, March 28, 1956 in Woodsville N.H., he was the son of Francis Edward Hathaway Sr. and Vivian (Aldrich) Hathaway, Bennett. Francis was raised in Bradford Vt and attended Bradford Elementary, Bradford Academy and Oxbow Highschool. Francis loved cooking and worked in several restaurants in the area. He loved to play the drums and as a teenager, he had a small band with his sister Becky, Peter Buskey and Brian Demers and had obtained several engagements to play. Francis loved drawing, painting, and putting models together. Growing up, he played in the cow pasture behind their home belonging to his grandparents, Leon and Winifred Norcross.
