Georgette R. Coleman

WEBSTERVILLE-Georgette Rita Coleman, 73, of Westerville VT, passed away on June 14th. After twice overcoming cancer, Georgette eventually succumbed to liver failure. She passed in the presence of her two children, Sulamunn (Sully) and Katidja (Katie) Coleman, who held her hands as she crossed over. Georgette was born on July 28th, 1950, to Roger and Rita Vigneault in Barre, VT. She completed her primary education at Holy Ghost Grade School in Graniteville. After graduating from Marian High School in 1968, she went on to earn a degree in Nursing from Jeanne Mance School of Nursing in 1971. In 2012, she earned a Master’s degree in Theology/Pastoral Ministry at St. Michael’s College. Georgette sought her Master’s degree so that she could apply her knowledge and education to hospice care. Her Roman Catholic faith was at the heart of her nearly 50-year nursing career.
