Gisele B. Chouinard

BARRE - Gisele ‘Gigi’ Chouinard, age 64, of Barre, Vermont, died at home on October 24th, 2025, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She fought with everything she had until the very last moment.

Gisele is survived by her mother, Germain LaRoche (Graniteville); brother Louis LaRoche (Marshfield); her sister Tammy Hall (Walden); her daughter Heather Chouinard and two grandchildren Lucian and Amelia Perry (Arizona); her daughter, Darienne Chouinard, and son, Adam Chouinard (Montpelier). There are many cousins in Canada; nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law as well as lifelong friends who may as well have been her own blood relatives. She is predeceased by her sister Lisa Lee, and father Guy LaRoche.

A memorial celebration potluck at the Canadian Club will be held on Saturday November 22nd, 2025, at 12pm to honor her life.
