Ida A. Dunbar

WILLIAMSTOWN-Ida Dunbar (maiden name Bolio), 67, of Williamstown, Vermont passed away at her home on Sunday September 1, 2024, after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born on October 2, 1956, in Montpelier, Vermont to Betty and John Bolio. Ida is survived by her husband of 30 years Brent Dunbar, furbaby Rita, daughter Bonnie (Tonya), son Rick (Katherine), stepson Keith (Johanna), stepdaughter April (Mike), 5 grandchildren, brother Steve (Brenda), sister Rose (Steve), and numerous cousins and friends. Mom battled cancer for 3 years and even after receiving the worst news anyone could hear; she grabbed cancer life by the throat and enjoyed each day of the remainder of her time the best she could. It only took 1 day for her to decide to retire early from the State of Vermont after her diagnosis. Mom was a stubborn, impatient woman, but had the biggest kind loving heart.
