Jennifer S. Chaloux

WILLIAMSTOWN - Jennifer S. (Metcalf) Chaloux, 55, of Williamstown, VT passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in her home, Saturday June 13th, 2026.

Born on March 16th, 1971, in Berlin, VT, she was the daughter of Charles Metcalf and Nancy Orton of Marshfield, VT. Jenn attended and graduated from Twinfield High School in Marshfield, VT.

Jenn married the love of her life, Hector J. Chaloux on June 22nd, 1996, and together they shared 29 years together, making Williamstown, VT, their home. They went on to have two children, their son Evan Chaloux, 29, and daughter Shayna Chaloux, 32. Jenn was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister-in-law, friend, and family member. She greatly enjoyed connecting with others, bringing smiles to their faces. Jenn spent most of her working life at JCPenney, working there for around 28 years until she moved onto Darn Tough, where she completed 5 years of service. She met a lot of people and her community through her time at work. She will be remembered for her positive personality and energy for life. Outside of work, Jenn enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing to the beach,

Jenn is survived by her mother Nancy Salerno, brother Douglass Metcalf, aunt Joan Metcalf, cousin Scott Caulfield, uncle Edwin Orton, cousin Mike Orton and family, cousin Cassandra Ryan and family. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Metcalf and grandparents. She also left behind several family members that include nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th at 6:00pm at 553 Martin Road, Williamstown, VT 05679.
