John Arthur Trepanier

BARRE - John Arthur Trepanier, 83, of Barre, passed away on January 20, 2025, in Delray Beach, Florida. He was born to Gerard Trepanier and Lucienne Mercier Trepanier in St. Cecile, Province of Quebec, Canada, on October 15, 1941. John graduated from Spaulding Highschool in Barre, VT, and from Lake Champlain College in Burlington, VT. He was a lifelong member of Saint Monica Catholic Church in Barre. He served as a member of the Vermont Air National Guard. John spent his entire work career at National Life Group in Montpelier, VT, and enjoyed his retirement years in Vermont and Delray Beach, Florida. John was predeceased by his parents, Gerard and Lucienne, brother Gilles (Millie) Trepanier, and brother David Trepanier; sisters Lise (Tom) McCallum, Liette Trepanier, and Claudette Trepanier. He is survived by sister Gheslane (Larry) Raidl of Elyria, Ohio and sister Giselle (Peter) Fournier of Barre, longtime friend and companion Barbara Nelson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
