BARRE-Kyle William (Collins) Stark, 39, of Barre, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly from a brief illness on October 27, 2026.
Born on September 9, 1987, Kyle was the son of Zena Collins (Stark) of Barre and William Collins of Williamstown. Kyle grew up in Montpelier and graduated from Spaulding High School.
Kyle had a larger-than-life personality and a gift for bringing happiness to those around him. He had a deep love for music and could often be found on a dance floor, singing karaoke, or behind a DJ booth, creating memories and smiles for family, friends, and strangers alike. His energy was contagious, and he had a way of making every gathering more fun just by simply being there.
Kyle was also an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle whenever he had the opportunity. While he had many passions, nothing meant more to him than his family, especially his sons, Malakei and Grant. Being a father was Kyle's greatest joy and the accomplishment he was most proud of. He often spoke about how much he loved his boys and how important they were to him.
Kyle was excited to begin a new chapter as a grandfather. He was excited to meet his grandson, Mateo, this past spring and embraced the role with excitement and pride.
Kyle is survived by his beloved sons, Malakei and Grant; his grandson, Mateo; his mother and his father; his maternal grandmother, Dawna Washburn of Georgia; his sister, Loretta Stark, and her husband, Andrew Willard, of Johnson; his brothers, Kasey Collins and his wife, Katrina, of Berlin, and Kevin Collins and his wife, Alexis, of Fort Edward, New York; four nieces and four nephews; his Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins whom he loved very much.
Kyle's family and friends will remember him for his love of music, his infectious smile, his sense of humor, his Love for God, and the love he had for the people closest to him. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
Kyle was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Henry "Andy" Stark and Robert Lacross, as well as his Paternal grandmother, Caroline Collins, Uncle Richard Collins and Aunt Margaret Collins
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
There will be a celebration of life at the Canadian Club, 414 East Montpelier Road Barre Vt, on Tuesday November 10, 2026 from 4-8 pm.
