Obituary

WILLIAMSTOWN-On the evening of September 4th, Loretta Predix peacefully joined her beloved husband, Charlie, once again, surrounded by her loving family.

Loretta was born on April 25, 1946, in Barre, Vermont, to Emile and Roseline Bergeron. She was one of five children and grew up surrounded by the love of her family.

Loretta graduated from Spaulding High School in 1964.

Throughout her working years, Loretta dedicated herself to caring for others. She worked at Howard’s Market and later at Hannaford’s in the deli and bakery, where she spent more than 30 years. She also worked as a housekeeper at Central Vermont Medical Center.

Loretta was known for her hardworking nature, kindness, and dedication to those around

her.

On December 19, 1964, Loretta married the love of her life, Charles “Charlie” Predix, in South Barre. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised four children: Denise (Larry) Morris of Williamstown, Chris (Mercury) Predix of Graniteville, Jeremy (Heidi) Predix of East Barre, and Christina (Kevin) Lavigne of South Barre.

Loretta found joy in the simple things in life. She enjoyed playing Bingo, scrapbooking, working on puzzles and puzzle books, and spending time with the people she loved. But above all else, her greatest joy was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was so proud of each and every one of them.

She leaves behind her beloved children and grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Matt) Dupuis, Mariah Morris, Kyle (Emilie) Morris, Brandon (Kaylee) Predix, Adrian (Ella) King Jr., Natasha (Jared) Milot, Justin Lavigne, and Joshua Lavigne.

Loretta was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years: Madeline and Aubrielle Dupuis; Brayden, Wyatt, and Aria Morris; Colton, Levi, Addison, and Isabella Predix; Henry Lamoureux; Bennett Milot; and Penelope Lavigne.

She is survived by her sister, Marion Johnson, as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember her with love.

Loretta was predeceased by her beloved parents, Emile and Roseline Bergeron; her brother, Arthur (Chubby); and her sisters, Linda and Dorothy.

Loretta's love, kindness, strength, and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she is deeply missed, her family finds comfort knowing that she is once again with the love of her life, Charlie.

In accordance with Loretta’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral. The family

will gather for a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer Street, Barre, assisted the family.
