Lorraine M. Rancourt

NOKOMIS, FL – Lorraine Mae Rancourt, 81, of Nokomis, FL, formally of Division Street, Barre, VT, passed away on July 14, 2024, after a short illness, at The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods with family members at her bedside. Born on September 8, 1942, in the Barre City Hospital, she was the daughter of William and Beatrice (Urban) Marceau. Lorraine attended Marion High School and graduated in (1962). On October 7, 1961, Lorraine married the love of her life, Real Rancourt. They lived in Barre. Lorraine and Real enjoyed their marriage for 39 years before his death in 2000. They took pleasure in the Saturday night dancing with friends followed by gatherings and entertaining at their home. Their love of RVing drove them to Florida and Lorraine moved to Nokomis, FL in 2002. Lorraine worked for First National Supermarkets and later Finast grocery, in the produce and meat departments.
