Margaret A. Mcallister

WILLIAMSTOWN - Margaret A. McAllister, 94, of Williamstown, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at her home. She went to heaven to walk with the angels and meet with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; and be reunited with her husband, family and friends.
Margaret was born on March 29, 1931, to Gedias and Marie Louise Gagnon. On July 7, 1956, she married James McAllister in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bridgeport Connecticut. In 1972 the couple moved to Vermont where they made their home and raised their children. James passed away May 8, 2015.
Margaret loved going to flea markets and yard sales. She also loved to work in her garden.
She was the mother of six children: Carole Morin, Mimi (Jesse) Rogers, Donna (Donald) LeBlanc, Dan (Pamela) McAllister, John McAllister, (pre-deceased) and Debbie (Chris) Clark, 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Margaret on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 12:00 pm, at St. Monica Church in Barre, with a burial to follow at St. Sylvester Cemetery. Calling hours will be held the night before on August 12, 2025, from 6-8pm at Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home.
