Martha G. Dunn

BARRE - Martha Giselle Dunn, 68, of Barre, passed away at CVH on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was born in Sherbrooke, Canada on July 30th, 1954. She attended Barre City Elementary Schools and Spaulding High School. Martha worked many years at the Hilltop Inn before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with Jon exploring flea markets and yard sales for treasures. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and especially growing tomatoes. Martha is survived by her partner of 25 years, Jon Willard, son, Robert (Gina) Shannon of Tennessee, brothers Allen (Pam) Thivierge, Mo (Buffy) Thivierge, sister Julie (Scott) Bliss, nieces, nephews and her cat, Lily. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Roland and Laurette Thivierge, her brother John-Marc Thivierge and nephew Aksel Schneider. There will be a graveside memorial May 17, 2023, at 1 pm, at St. Sylvester's Cemetery in Lower Websterville. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist with her burial costs.
