Pierre Grenier

NORTHFIELD-Pierre Grenier,79, resident of Berlin, VT, passed away on November 8, 2023, after a second battle with cancer. He was in the care of Mayo Healthcare and surrounded by his loving family during his final days. He was Born in Lac-Megantic, Quebec, on January 28, 1944, to Francois Grenier and Jeannette Coulombe. After spending his formative years in Piopolis, Pierre’s family immigrated to Vermont. Once there, he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Korea. After serving, his career led him to Norwich University’s dining hall services where he achieved rank of Captain and retired after 19 years. Pierre’s love of cooking and being around people led him to the Canadian Club where he worked until his final retirement. He was happiest with family and when in the company of his friends at the Northfield Country Club and Canadian Club.
