Robert F. Tuthill Jr.

Burlington - Robert (Bob) Tuthill Jr. passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2026. He was born on November 4, 1959, in Randolph, VT to Robert Sr and Beverly Tuthill.

Bob lived in Randolph until 1973 when his family moved to Barre, VT where he resided with his mother Beverly and two sisters, Teresa and Thelma, for many years.

In 1996 Bob met his companion of many years, Linda Evans. They resided in Richmond. We all spent many years camping together. He loved camping with Linda, his sister Thelma and his nieces Jennifer, Amber and Kristin. He was a jokester around them and could make everyone smile no matter what. Bob and Linda spent many nights and weekends fishing at their favorite spots, catch anything or not they just enjoyed the peace and the company of each other.

One of Bob’s huge passions was football. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. Bob, Linda and his sister Thelma would have many a banter over the games.

Bob had a special bond with his sister Teresa Perojo. He would visit Teresa, her spouse Larry and his niece Rachel as often as possible, never doing much except talking, laughing and connecting.

Eventually Bob moved to Burlington where he resided for many years.

He is predeceased by his father Robert Sr, mother Beverly, sister Teresa and brother-in-law Larry.

He is survived by his sister Thelma; nieces Jennifer and her husband Ryan, Amber, Kristin and her husband Roland and Rachel.

Bob will be remembered by all of us as a kindhearted soul who loved his family deeply. A jokester who just wanted to make everyone smile. We remember his passion for what he loved, fishing, football and family.
