Russell C. Edson Jr.

WORCESTER- Russell Charles Edson, 70, of Worcester, Vermont passed away in his home unexpectedly on March 11, 2023. He was born on May 27, 1952, to Russell Charles Sr and Eleanor Theresa Connelly Edson in Harlem, New York. The family lived in Bethpage, New York where he attended Island Trees High School and in 1968 the family moved to Brookfield, Vermont where in 1970 he graduated from Randolph Union High School. He was married to Polly Ann Hazen from 1973 to 1978 when they parted ways. He met his current wife, Marla Jean Tewksbury in 1978 and they were married on July 2, 1988. Russell was a devoted employee of the family business Northeast Granite Company, where he worked alongside his parents, brothers, and sister. He enjoyed South Florida, where the family visited annually while working together. He took pride in his ability to scuba dive and fish while there and encouraged his siblings to learn about these hobbies as well.
