Sean P. Braddee

BARRE TOWN- Sean Patrick Braddee, 54, passed away at UVMC palliative care on January 28, 2025 with family by his side. He was born on January 16, 1971, to Earl Braddee and Charlotte (Sherry) Stone Braddee in Burlington, VT. Sean grew up on Allen Street in Barre, VT with his parents and sister, Tracy. He attended Barre public schools and graduated from Spaulding High School in the Class of 1989. While in high school Sean participated in football, basketball, wrestling and lacrosse. He was also active in the drama club. He was a natural athlete and a lifelong sports fan. His life dramatically changed with the creation of ESPN. After graduating from high school Sean attended Thomas College in Maine. In his sophomore year he transferred to Worcester State College in Massachusetts where he played football.
