Shirley Marie Bennett-Bill

BARRE - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Marie Bennett-Bill, who left us on March 9, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on March 5, 1956, in Thetford Mines, Quebec Canada. At the age of four, Shirley moved to Vermont with her family where she grew up making loving memories and developed many lasting friendships. In 1974 Shirley graduated from Spaulding High School where she demonstrated remarkable ambition towards earning recognition as Future Business Leader at the age of 15, which led her down the path to begin her career at National Life where she remained for 37 years. She earned the respect of her co-workers and formed lasting relationships; all testament to her dedication and work ethic. She fondly remembered her summers spent at her Aunt Louise and Uncle Gerry’s home in Stoneham, Quebec where she spent time swimming at the river, gathering with the neighborhood kids, and having countless adventures in the many vacant local barns.
